We wish you a warm welcome in the summer house “VanOns” in Giethoorn.
A beautiful location where you can enjoy yourself, as a couple, together with family or friends. Walking along the canals of the authentic village with its many bridges. Enjoy on terraces or enjoy a delicious meal in one of the many atmospheric restaurants in the village.
The mattresses of all beds in the house have been renewed this year and are of superior quality. You will sleep like a baby and wake up fully rested!
From the cottage you can easily sail away to the village canal, the nearby lake ‘Bovenwiede’ and the beautiful nature reserves of the National Park “Weerribben” and “De Wieden”, an area that is fascinating and colorful in all seasons. The yellow dotters in the spring, the lavish nature in the summer, bronze reed beds in the autumn and the ice-blue stillness in the winter.
The house is an oasis of peace, space and privacy. When there is ice, the skates can be tied at the door to make beautiful trips. In the summer you can enjoy one of the terraces around the house and when it is a bit cooler on the new covered terrace.
The holiday home has its own boat available with which you can enjoy the watery environment without any worries.
A fee is charged for the use of the boat.
Free WIFI and free NETFLIX are available in the cottage. The fireplace provides warmth and a lot of atmosphere. Firewood is available unlimited for a small fee. You can use a ladies’ and a men’s bicycle for free. RENTAL PRICES: see the booking calendar BOAT RENTAL PRICE (only the steel boat is rented): ■ Price per weekend: € 125,- ■ Price per midweek: € 125,- ■ Price per week: € 195,- When the boat is rented out, the key of the lock is given to the tenants. Boat must always be returned with a full tank.
